2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS Lightsail) [check]. When you visit, the server automatically records technical data (IP address, date and time, pages visited, browser and device type, referring URL). This is needed to deliver and secure the website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). Log data is deleted after 14 days. AWS may process data in the USA; transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Contact by email or phone
If you contact me, I process your details to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out a project (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Email is provided by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.) [check]. I delete enquiries once they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.

4. Booking a call
The “Say hello” link uses Google Calendar appointment scheduling. When you book, Google processes the details you enter (name, email, chosen time). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Jetpack (Automattic)
I use Jetpack for website security, statistics and performance [check]. Jetpack processes data such as IP addresses and page views, which may be transferred to Automattic Inc. in the USA. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. More: https://automattic.com/privacy/

6. Performance measurement
This site uses the WordPress Optimization Detective plugin to improve loading speed. It records anonymous technical data about how pages display in your browser (such as screen size and image positions). No personal profiles are created. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. Technically necessary cookies may be set, for example for site security.

8. External links
This site links to external platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Discord, Gumroad, YouTube, ArtStation and Vero. No data is shared with them unless you click a link; their own privacy policies then apply.

9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Ansbach.

10. Changes
I may update this policy when this website or the law changes.
